Important information

This remote control is fully compatible with the cheaper model ECOSTAR RSE2.

ECOSTAR RSC2 transmitter is easily programmed (with the receiver). It operates under the frequency 433.92 MHz, perfectly compatible with Ecostar RET2 receiver. Transmitters with different frequencies are not compatible.

CAUTION: The ECOSTAR RET2 receiver compatible with this remote, accepts programming of up to 6 RSC2 remote controls. By the register of a 7th remote control, this will delete the first RSC2 hand transmitter you registered.

WARNING: Ecostar remote controls are not compatible with other Hörmann remotes or operators, and they are not compatible either with other 433 MHz remotes or operators. ECOSTAR fobs only work at Hörmann Ecostar gate operators: Lifttronic, Portronic, and Doortronic.

The registration of the RSC2 transmitter only takes few minutes and requires no special equipments. 1. Press the transparent button under the ECOSTAR engine, release it when a LED begins to flash slowly.

2. During the following 10 seconds, press a button on your new remote control. You can release the button when the LED begins to flash faster.

3. Press the same button on your Ecostar RSC2. Keep it pressed till the LED begins to flash rapidly, then you can release it.

4. Your new remote is now programmed.
