ATTENTION: to program your remote control you should :

Keep pressing down the remote’s button, the LED illuminates blue, goes off for 5 seconds then flashes red or blue: you can do the programming of your transmitter when the LED flashes red/blue.

WARNING: This model is not compatible with the HORMANN 868 Mhz remote with blue buttons.

Note: Make sure that you are buying the correct remote control. This is the Hormann HSE2 model with the frequency of 868.3 MHz and black buttons. The colour of the buttons is linked to the frequency and models with different frequencies/buttons are not compatible.

The black colour of the buttons show that this hand-held transmitter is compatible with 868.3 MHz frequency. Hörmann remotes buttons have a specific colour for every radiofrequency.

 

The 2 button Rolling-code hand transmitter can be programmed to support up to 2 doors, lights or electric gates.

 

Note: These new handsets are backwards compatible so can be used with all Hörmann automatic operators produced since 2005. This means that a new transmitter can control both a new gate operator and an existing garage door operator. If you have an old type Hörmann remote control working under the frequency 868,3 MHz, you can replace it by BiSecur transmitter but an old type remote control won't work with new type motors with BiSecur system.

 

Note that Hörmann hand transmitters are only compatible with Hörmann garage door operators.

There are several methods for programming your new remote control

 

From an already-programmed remote control (old models):

 

CAUTION: During the coding operation, if you press first the buttons on the new remote control, you run the risk of erasing your already programmed remote control.

 

1. Place your new remote control and a previously programmed remote control so that they can touch. Press a button on your previously programmed remote control.

3. While holding down the button on your previously programmed remote control, press

on the same button on your new remote control. Hold it down. The led of

your new remote control flashes slowly. Wait 5 seconds. The led flashes faster.

4. Release the buttons.

5. Repeat this procedure for each button you wish to program. Wait 10 seconds.

7. Your new remote control is programmed.

 

From an already-programmed remote control (new models):

 

1. Place your new remote control and an already programmed remote at 3-4 cm one

on the other. Press a button on your previously programmed remote control.

3. Your already programmed remote control will start flashing blue and red.

4. While holding down the button on your previously programmed remote control, press

on the same button on your new remote control. Hold it down. The led of

your new remote control flashes slowly. Wait 5 seconds. The led of your flashes faster.

5. Release the buttons.

6. Repeat this procedure for each button you wish to program. Wait 10 seconds.

8. Your new remote control is programmed.

 

Programming from an old remote control to a new one:

 

1. Open the case of your new remote control so that you can access the battery.

2. In order to be able to program your new remote control from an old one

model, you have to remove the battery. While remaining pressed on the button you want

to program, replace the battery and keep the button pressed.

3. The LED flashes blue slowly and then quickly, red slowly and then quickly. You can release the button.

4. Your new remote control is ready to be programmed from an old one by

following the same steps as in the section "From an already-programmed remote control (old models)".
