Sadly the remote sender supplied is not reliable and only works sometimes. I have to persevere to get it to work. This a component supplier fault I understand. No fault to Remote Control Express. « I ordered two HR RC868S remote controllers as replacements for the original Sommer TX03-868-4 controllers. The new HR RC 868S controllers are far superior to the original Sommer controllers. The Sommer units have a metal case which can, and does short out the battery in the controller. The new HR RC868S substitute replacements are a much better design. An added bonus, the advert for the HR RC868S controllers states it uses a 12 volt battery – it doesn't, it uses the same CR3032 as the Sommer type uses, so my stock of CR3032s remain useful. The new HR RC868S controllers are also a much better size and shape than the original Sommer units – and very much cheaper. I would strongly recommend that anybody who has the Sommer units immediately replace them with this alternative from Remote Control Express. »
