Note: The learning procedure will be interrupted if you release the button on the learning transmitter during the slow flashing.

 

Programing of your new remote control : 

 

1. Place the transmitter that is to “teach” the code (teaching transmitter) and the transmitter that is to learn the code (learning transmitter) directly next to one another.

2. Press and hold the button on the teaching transmitter. The LED will light up and remain lit.

3. Immediately afterwards, press and hold the button on the learning transmitter  - the LED on the learning transmitter will flash slowly for 4 seconds and then starts flashing more rapidly when the learning procedure was successfully completed.

4. Release all the buttons and check that the new remote works correctly! 

If the transmitter does not function correctly, repeat steps 1-4.

How do the programming of my HÖRMANN S850 - E860 if i have lost my original remote control ? 

 

If you have lost your original remote control, or you no longer have a working one then you will need to program your new one using the receiver unit.

 

This procedure will erase all the existing programmed remotes.

 

NOTE: The receiver unit and programming procedure may differ slightly depending on the model of operator you have.

 

First locate the receiver unit and locate the programming button. On older units this will be a small red button on the receiver unit, whereas on newer models - such as the GaraMatic 9 or 10 - the button will be marked 'P' or 'Prg'.

Press the button briefly, and then take the new remote control and hold down the button you wish to learn the code . The light on the handset should begin flashing for a few seconds before stopping once it has learnt the new code.
